Project for the Digital Product Passport

As part of the Federated Innovation @MIND initiative, we are in  the process of implementing a pilot project to develop a Digital Product Passport (DPP) related to Versalis Revive® EPS Europa 5 AE, an expandable polystyrene from our Versalis Revive® range, with recycled content from mechanical recycling. This project, in collaboration with Eni, Kezzler and Cariplo Factory, aims to ensure the traceability of sustainability information regarding the product throughout its life cycle. The testing takes into account what is already regulated, for example by referring to the Regulation on the Eco-Design of Sustainable Products (ESPR).

Using Kezzler's digital platform will allow us to reduce use of paper-based methods and provide information along the value chain in real time, which also reduces the likelihood of errors.
