Circularity: new value chain solutions

Strengthening collaboration across the entire plastics value chain in order to accelerate the transition towards more sustainable and circular models: this is the objective of the meeting “Circularity: new value chain solutions,” organized by Versalis on 30th June 2026 at the Porto Marghera site.

The initiative brought together key players from across the value chain – including consortia, converters, recycling operators and large-scale retail – with the participation of AIPE, Corepla, Conad, Ecoplastic, ProFood, Unionplast and Veritas. At the center of the discussion was the development of integrated models covering all stages of the plastics lifecycle, from collection and recycling through to reuse in high value-added applications such as food packaging.

The meeting is part of Versalis’ strategy to promote increasingly efficient and collaborative circular value chains, enhancing the contribution of all stakeholders involved and fostering innovation in material recovery and reuse processes.

This commitment also aims to support the achievement of European targets on recycled content in packaging, contributing to the development of sustainable and competitive solutions for the sector.
