Versalis: new Cooperation Agreement with CB&I to market LDPE and EVA proprietary technologies in North America

San Donato, Milan – 24 July 2014 - Versalis (Eni) has signed a Cooperation Agreement withCB&I, the leading US-based engineering and industrial services company. CB&I will market and provide engineering services for Versalis’ low density polyethylene (LDPE) and ethyl vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) technologies in North America. CB&I will be able to offer both tubular and autoclave high pressure processes, which will enhance the range of products at Versalis’ LDPE and EVA plants and add a high-quality product mix capable of meeting any market needs.The Versalis LDPE and EVA technologies complement CB&I’s olefins processes and polypropylene technologies, and, thanks to this new agreement, will be industrialized and enhanced in North America and Mexico.
