Nareglax®

NAREGLAX® is the Versalis plasticizer whose bio-based component is due to azelaic acid produced by Matrica through a unique, innovative, and more environmentally sustainable technology using European-origin vegetable oils. It is the diester of azelaic acid with 2-ethylhexanol (DOZ). It appears as a clear liquid and is characterized by high purity.

Bio-based content

The carbon content of plant origin compared to the total carbon content is 38%, in accordance with ASTM D 6866-22.

Versatility in use

Nareglax® can be used in applications with PVC, NBR, and CR, with which it demonstrates high compatibility, mainly replacing dioctyl sebacate (DOS) and dioctyl adipate (DOA). It is particularly suitable for low-temperature applications in wires, cables, flexible hoses, films, and packaging. It demonstrates excellent weather resistance and electrical insulation performance. It has excellent plasticizing efficiency, low volatility, and a low migration rate. It is phthalate-free.
