Born in 1971, he obtained a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Palermo. Since 2024 he has been Head of the Versalis Operations Unit.
Experience
In 1996, he received an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Palermo, later an Advanced Certificate for Executives in Management, Innovation, and Technology from MIT Sloan in Boston and a Master’s Degree in Politics and Management of the Middle East and North Africa from Luiss University.
He joined Eni in 1999 and worked over 25 years in Eni’s Refining Division.
In 2019, as CEO of Gela’s Refinery, he led the start-up of the Gela’s biorefinery. Later, he joined ADNOC to serve as Vice President of Operations of the Ruwais West Refinery, as Eni’s Secondee; he returned back to Italy as Head of Development Projects of Eni’s DOT Department within Energy Evolution DG.
From 2022 to 2024, he has been Head of Eni’s Refining and Logistics and CEO of Milazzo’s Refinery (a JV Eni Kuwait Petroleum Italia).
