Our project for the chemical recycling of plastics with Hoop® technology is among the winners of the tender for the EU Innovation Fund, a European fund dedicated to innovative technologies with low carbon emissions. The European Commission published the results of the winning projects for a total of 3.6 billion euros: 41 major projects were awarded, compared to a total of 239 presented.
These include the Hoop® demo plant - under construction at Mantua - for the chemical recycling of plastic waste which is not mechanically recyclable. The development of the Hoop® project, which is the only winner in Italy, is strategic for achieving full circularity of plastics.
