Versalis at Ecomondo 2026

New perspectives on circularity at Ecomondo

From 3 to 6 November, we will be back at Ecomondo in Rimini, one of the leading international events dedicated to the green and circular economy, bringing together companies, institutions, research organisations and stakeholders to share technologies and solutions for the ecological transition.

Come and visit us at Hall D3, Stand 200-301.

Discover how we turn innovation and circularity into everyday-life applications: from food packaging to sports, hospitality and design.

The spotlight will be on our mechanical recycling solutions, including the Refence® range, our portfolio of mechanically recycled polymers designed for direct food-contact applications, and Versalis Revive®.

In this area, we will be showcasing Versalis Revive® PP, a new-generation recycled polypropylene made from 100% secondary raw material sourced from urban separate waste collection and recycled by Eco+Eco (Veritas Group) for Versalis. Visitors will be able to see how it is used in everyday products, such as shopping baskets and supermarket trolleys, as well as in applications requiring high standards of quality and aesthetics, such as cosmetic packaging.

Alongside our packaging solutions, we will also present applications and partnerships in furniture and design. We will showcase the Opaline collection by Giulio Iacchetti, made with ReUp®, demonstrating how innovation and circularity can be translated into new design products and application opportunities, with a greater focus on environmental sustainability. We will also highlight our hospitality solutions, developed in collaboration with partners such as Artigo, Medaarch and Slamp.

This year, we also want to show how our products find their way into applications in the world of sport. At our stand, you will discover examples of high-value-added applications, including motorcycle helmets currently under development together with Acerbis. A prototype inspired by the iconic Jet Aria helmet will be on display, featuring, for the first time, polymers from the Balance® range, including a specially formulated ABS grade for the outer shell.

You will also be able to see OTK's go-kart, whose side pods, rear bumper, front nose cone and fuel tank are made from HDPE (high-density polyethylene) belonging to the Balance® family.

We also want to bring our innovation into play – both on and off the field!

From playing fields to spectator stands, from technical surfaces to lighting, we work with our partners to develop integrated solutions that combine performance, efficiency and durability.

Come and discover the artificial turf systems developed together with Safitex, which can incorporate recycled materials from the Versalis Revive® and Balance® ranges and/or biodegradable materials such as Novamont's Mater-Bi®.

When talking about sport, XL EXTRALIGHT® by Finproject is a must: an innovative technology that gives footwear lightness, flexibility and grip.

An integrated exhibition space will also feature Novamont, with its biodegradable and compostable bioplastics, alongside several Eni businesses presenting their range of solutions. The space will also include an Arena hosting a packed programme of talks and presentations.
