Born in Naples in 1981, he has been Versalis’ Head of Compliance Business Support since 4 July 2022.
Experience
A Law graduate from LUISS Guido Carli, a lawyer registered with the Rome Bar Association, he practised as a freelance lawyer for a few years before joining Eni in 2010, the year in which he obtained a 2nd level Master's degree in Oil & Gas Law and Economics from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan.
From 2010 to 2015, with increasing responsibilities, he provided legal assistance in civil and administrative matters to Eni and its subsidiaries engaged in both upstream and downstream activities in Italy.
Subsequently, between 2015 and 2019, he held positions of responsibility in the context of anti-corruption assistance, first for the Italy business and then for the Middle and Far East region.
In 2019, he was appointed head of the compliance department of K.P.O. BV, a joint venture jointly managed by Eni and Shell and operator of the Karachaganak field in Kazakhstan.
Since July 2022 he has been responsible for compliance business support at Versalis where he supervises and provides support, across all business areas, with respect to all compliance issues in coordination with Eni's centralised support functions. His responsibilities also include the definition, management and monitoring of action plans resulting from audit and supervisory activities.
