Our Research Centre in Porto Torres (Sassari) in Sardinia consists of an analysis laboratory and seven pilot plants. Our structure, within the Matrìca facilities, aims at optimising production processes by providing specialised analytical assistance and supporting activities related to the agricultural supply chain in order to develop new technologies to enhance the value of bio-based raw materials.
The laboratory is divided into two operational areas:
- analysis room, where all chemical, physical and instrumental characterisations necessary for process management are performed. The techniques used are of a chromatographic, spectrophotometric, potentiometric type
- test room, where pre-testing and distillation tests, including under-vacuum distillation, are carried out
